Buildings, landscaping, and special effects suggest a whimsical and very wintery, arctic environment. A curved backdrop of mountain peaks and night sky, which partially extends around each side, confines the audience’s viewing area to just the front of the layout. Orientation of scenery and visual tricks in perspective favor such a restricted line-of-sight.
